The time has finally come, PA!

During these uncertain times and a very, very long three months, there’s some good news in sight. As we are all adjusting to our “new normal” as the COVID-19 pandemic numbers begin to subside, we are beginning to enter the next phase of this worldwide pandemic.

As Governor Wolf recently released the guidelines for small businesses to start reopening, the team at the Embroidery Factory remains dedicated to ensuring the safety and security of our employees as well as our clients as we continue to provide materials and supplies to medical professionals and essential personnel throughout the state.

Below is the outline for the “yellow phase” as it relates to Lackawanna and surrounding counties effective June 5, 2020.

Business-related updates

●      Child care may open complying with guidance so employees may return to an office environment

●      Telework must continue where applicable

●      Businesses with in-person operations must follow company and building safety orders as applicable

●      Schools remain closed for in-person instruction for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year.

●      Congregate care and prison restrictions remain in place

Social-related updates

●      Large gathers of more than 25 are prohibited.

●      In-person retail shopping has reopened however curbside and delivery remain preferable

●      Restaurants and bars mau open for outdoor dining in addition o carry-out and delivery effective June 5, 2020.

●      Indoor recreation, health and wellness facilities such as gyms and personal care services such as hair and nail salons remain closed.

●      All large-scale entertainment such as casinos and movie theatres remain closed.

While we are excited about our community and state reopening and the hopes of an improved economy, safety precautions are still imperative to ensure we’re doing our part to flatten the curve. As a result, the EF team has implemented enhanced protocols at the Factory to ensure that we’re not only operating in accordance with state mandates but we continue to place our employees and our clients at the forefront of our priorities.

From disposable menus for eat-in dining to branded face masks to even hand sanitizers, we’re here to help. From mask pricing starting at .59 p/p, now is the ideal time to plan ahead.
